German Pipemakers: Hermann Hennen

Hi Folks,

Next I want to introduce a German pipecarver called Hermann Hennen to you.

Hermann makes Pipes for some years before he showed them.

Some years ago some Pipes made by him were sold above a german retailer for whom he cleared estte pipes.

Sometimes later his Pipes were shown on a pipecollectors-site in Germany.

After that nobody heared anything else of Hermann. But he still made Pipes!

Hermann is retired now.

He worked as a Designer for furniture and some more.

And he is a master on lathe, so his Pipes are very well done.

Firstly I saw himself last year on the Pipeshow in Rheinbach but there he don´t presented his pipes officially.

This year he firstly presented his beautiful Pipes at the Pipeshow in Lohmar. There I bought this one:

His Pipes are very well made out of briar and bog oak. Sometimes he worked with horn, sometimes with bamboo.

Unfortunatly Hermann has no HP at this time. So look at the links, there you can see some Pipes made by him.:

Enjoy Hermanns pipes. They are really wonderful smokers and look nice!
