German Pipemakers: Ralf E. Wunderlich
Hi Folks!
The next one I want to introduce to you is a man called Ralf E. Wunderlich. I saw the first Pipes made by him 2007 on a small pipemakers convent in Fürfurt, a very small village in Germany. At this time, he was in the beginning of his pipemaking career. I could not believe it, when I saw his pipes because they look like Pipes from a longtime practice!
He learned something about pipemaking by the German carver Bertram Safferling (I think some of you know him) and nowadays he learn a lot by another German Carver, Gerhard Wilhelm (I will introduce him soon).
Firstly Ralf presented his Pipes last year on the first Frankonian Pipeshow in Fürth and everybody who saw his Pipes was astonished. Wow, a man wo made pips for a little bit more than one year , and he made so beautiful Pipes!
Ralfs Pipes are mostly in classical shapes with very thin shanks. Best I like his Dublin-shapes.
But Ralf is not only a pipemager, also he is a painter and sculptor and a real nice guy.
Please look at his HP and enjoy his wonderful Pipes:

All the best
