German Pipemakers: Ken Dederichs

Hi Folks,

today I want to introduce a very new pipecarver to you, Ken Dederichs.

Ken is a Japanese, coming to Germany because of his girl freind living here.

Since a bit more than two years Ken makes pipes. His mainly instructor is the very well known Cornelius Mänz. And he learnd a very lot. When you see Kens pipes you can´t believer, that it´s only a short time ago he bagn pipemaking.

First I met Ken on the Rheinbach show 2007. At this time he only had a box with some pipes with him, only to show some, not to sell. Wow!

At the first Frankonian pipeshow at Fürth in 2007 he has his debut and all visitors who saw his pipes were astonihed about them.

Ken pends between classical shapes in the danish way and freehand shapes. And all he do very well.

Sometimes he works with bamboo but almost his pipes without any aplication.

Look at his site and enjoy: http://www.kenpipes.de/index.html
