Re: New finds

I believe my all time favorite is Lady Grey, when I can find it. Have had the pleasure of acquiring some Earl Grey while in the UK a couple years ago. I managed to find a nice British teapot to go with it as well!!

Does everyone here use tea bags or loose? I've never tried loose tea and was wondering if it's that much better.

I prefer loose... bit more flavor, better quality tea leaves. I'll be honest though - I don't know if I could tell the difference between bagged earl grey and loose. However, I mostly drink Chinese Stuff, which comes only in tins.

I use the bags more than anything. I will drink, maybe, three or four cups of tea a day over the weekend if I don't make a pot of coffee. The bags work better for this. I used to make my tea by the pot and then I used the lose leaf tea. I don't know if I even have a tea ball anymore.

Tea bags here.....I never leave enough time in my routine to make tea the "proper" way. There was a time when I made my tea from loose leaves, and as I remember, it did have a richer flavor. My lifestyle now is dash and run....the sacrifices we make. emoticon

Ya,definitely bags here too. My grandmother loved loose leaf tea, but I was too young toappreciate a difference. Nowadays,I am like Ted, grab and run.

Breaking away from the tea line of thought here............

I don't normally go in much for flavored coffee but my last order from Cup O Joes was for 12 ounces of Blueberry Cobbler, and another 12 of Black Forest. Just waitin for Saturday morning.

First pot of Blueberry Cobbler this morning is a bit of a let down. Its my own doing. Generally, fill the pot, 3 scoops of coffee and good to go. With this stuff its going to take more coffee or less water, one of the two. Tastes a bit on the weak side and needs a bit more color.

Probably use the whole bag just trying to figure out how to make it.

Again from Cup O Joe's. Latest order included a bag of "Dead Man's Reach". The label says, "Served in bed, raises the dead."

I was expecting to really get kicked by this one, but not so. It seems to be fairly stout blend of coffee, but very smooth. Jack said something about having this in a post a week or so back. Jack, I don't know about you, but I could swear I get a hint of a light chocolate taste in there. emoticon

Good stuff whatever it is. emoticon
