What I drink When I smoke.
I've been smoking for a little bit, and I've had the opportunity to kinda experiment arount with different things as far as what I mix with my pipe. I've been finding that I lean towards coffe (just plain old folgers) with ladkia blends in the morning. I generally like a perqui blend if i'm drinking beer generally something dark. And I like white russians with Mac Barrens gold of denmark. Questions comments with that?

Regardless of the blend or type of baccy, I drink either black Maxwell House or Folgers coffee or plain water. Brenda likes Maxwell House best and since she basically has the coffee maker on all the time when she's awake, I drink that but I always keep a jar of Folgers instant in case I want a cup during the night and don't want to make a whole pot. I used to drink only one or possibly two cups of coffee in the morning until I quit drinking alcoholic beverages 10-12 years ago then I started drinking more coffee. Beofre I quit drinking after one or two cups of coffee in the morning, it was beer time.  I didn't drink anything with alcohol again until the last 6-8 months and then started drinking a beer every day or three because of my constantly having kidney stones and my docs constantly encouraging me to do so. About a month or so ago I decided that I wanted a drink of bourbon so I bought a big bottle of Maker's Mark of which I used to consume lots of. I've been having a drink every night or so since then to help me take a nap. I drink it straight over ice or maybe with just a touch of water but most of the time straight. Since I smoke the majority of my latakia blends at night, I've found the bourbon goes very good with it and of course coffee does too.

I've never tried Burbon. I'm generally a striaght up beer guy. I'f I'm looking to "tie one on" I'll buy vodka and some orange juice, or "cyclone". I got heavy into some crown royal about 2 years ago and I haven been able to drink whiskey since. Pretty much anything that has a taste remotely close to whiskey is out of he question.
When my room mate and I first got to college I think we single handedly kept McKormics vodka, and donald duck orange juice afloat. We'd go through a handle in a night. But I cant affod that anymore so I stopped.

Any of you Blokes know of or tried Bundaberg Rum. it's a Rum made in the Town of Bundaberg, a Sugar growing district Of North Queensland, down here in Australia. The beauty of Bundy is that on cold Winter days OR nights a splash of Bundy in a cup of coffee gives you the perfect drink whilst Smoking a lovely Cyprian Latakia Blend. It has similar smokey qualities that make it a perfect Partner for that heavenly Weed. Alternatively, during the hot Summers, Straight Bundy on Ice OR with Coca Cola as a Mixer, gives VAs or Perique Blends an added edge whilst at the same time softening any Bite that may come from bad Smoking technique.

Sounds like the Bundaberg is an all around good drink for year round use. I have never heard of it but then again I never was much of a rum drinker and guess that Bacardi dark was the favorite of the few I tried but must admit that I didn't really care for it. I knew lots of folks that drank Bacardi and coke but maybe it was the sweetness of the rum in conflict with my natural sweetness that made it way too sweet for me.
Is the Bundaberg just local or is it shipped to other countries? I may try to locate some to check it out.

I've never tried it either. I do like a sweet drink though. I'd like to know where I can get my hands on it. I prefer a little baily's Irish cream in my coffe. My wife quit buying it for me though. Its to delicious, and I'd end up making a bottle disapear in a day or two, and that kind of habit can get expensive.

Not sure if you can buy it outside of Australia. It's not overly sweet, just a nice smokey laid back sippin' liquor. I'll get a small Bottle of it and send it over to you Guys for Christmas. I'll send it to you Larry and then you can send a sample to Pipe Dude.

Holy cow Vic, Bundaberg Rum, you Queenslanders will drink any thing 
Must admit I tend to favour beer, and during the summer months to me Gin and Tonic is very refreshing, even though my wife reckons its an old ladies drink. :D

In the AM my favorite is Starbucks French Roast coffee. I don't drink anything with alchohol in it anymore. Alchohol created too many problems for me so I quit about 16yrs ago!
I'll drink O'Doul's Amber non-alchoholic beer in the evening. Only n/a I've ever found that has the beer taste and body to it! :D
