Harder beverages
Whenever I am in the mood for something stronger than water, coffee, or tea, I generally drink either a nice Scotch (Johnny Walker Black label or a good single malt), bourbon (Maker's Mark or Knob Creek), or Merlot. I will sometimes drink a hearty ale if I'm in the mood for it.

Re: Harder beverages
After not drinking any alcoholic beverages at all for over 10 years, upon docs orders, I've started having a drink at night and a beer or three during the week. The Maker's Mark and George ****le ivory label are 2 of my standard drinks although over the past years the price has certainly increased. Whether most of that is taxes or from the maker, I don't know. Just because of an old heavy habit, I went back to Budweiser in the bar bottle because as much as I used to drink, I couldn't afford the better brands, ales and other such things. The Budweiser always ran through me as fast as the other ones and I just couldn't justify paying for high priced urine.

Re: Harder beverages
I like Guinness on occasion...otherwise, I am mostly a Corona or Bud drinker (when I drink beer at all, that is).

Re: Harder beverages
I like cyclone and pepsi when I can aford it. 20 bucks a bottle isnt bad. Cyclone is just bacardi gold rum, and tequila with some lime. It mixes well with pepsi. I also like barcardi gold rum with vanilla coke or straight. I like the sweet stuff.

Re: Harder beverages
I'm mostly a Miller Lite drinker, but I like a better beer from time to time and a shot of Jamison I will never refuse.

I used to like Killians Red with a bowl. But my dogs kept drinking it.

Re: Harder beverages
I am a beer man mostly. I have given up on American beers though.I might have the occasional michelob, but usually I am a guiness man to the core.
