Re: Black and Tan?

I've been drinking a little Sam Adams for the past few months (thanks Rob) and enjoying the variety of flavors I've tried. Back a few months ago we had a brief discussion about micro brewed beers and until today coming home from the doc I had completely forgotten about a business a couple blocks from me in a 3-4 business old mini strip mall named Home Brew. I remember when it started several years ago but at that time I wasn't drinking alcoholic beverages so it didn't interest me. As soon as I can halfway walk again I'm going to see if they are in business and if so inquire about some of their brews.

Sounds like a good idea Larry.

A lot of micro breweries offer samplers of their brews to try out.

We have a couple of brewhouses in Lafayette near Purdue.

It's making me thirsty thinking about it. emoticon

Rob,

Do you ever drink Port? I had Brenda pick me up a bottle back a year or so ago but don't even remember the name. I believe I looked up some highly reviewed names and picked one form there. I do know that Port isn't cheap or at least the bottle I bought wasn't.

Have you or anyone else got any recommendations?

I have tried different Ports and like you can't remember the names.
It's awful sweet....a little will do me.

One drink I have come to enjoy is Honey Mead. I like Oliver Wineries Camelot Mead.
