Couple of Pipe Smoking Books

Hi all, I know I'm new here, but I've made lots of trades with members of another forum and I promise if you trade with me you'll be happy.

Disclaimer aside emoticon , I have a copy of Trial By Fire by William Serad, and The Pipe Companion: A Connoisseur's Guide by David Wright I'd like to trade. I've had both of these for a while, and can only read them so many times. The Pipe Companion is in near perfect shape. Trial By Fire is in good shape, but has some small water marks where a coffee was spilled, and a some check marks next to blends I found available at the local B&M. All pages and binding are intact and fine, though. If anyone's interested in them let me know. I'm not sure what I want from them, maybe some tobacco? Not much, I'm easy. emoticon

Sorry there.....got tied up this weekend (not literally...darn! LOL) and didn't get back to you. To tell the truth, with everything going on, it totally slipped my mind. I'm writing myself a post-it right now. yep....still interested.

In the mail @ noon Brandon. Hope you enjoy! You mentioned 5100/110 in another post....yep 50/50. Got the recipe from Larry when I first came here and have been a fan ever since. 5100 is a good blender, but a bit monochromatic....110 is an aero/burly which I'm not too enamoured of....the two together, especially with some age to help them meld....they sing!

Brandon,

I smoke the 5100/110 as well, but I prefer mine in a mix of 2/3's 5100 and 1/3 110. The 110 is a little too over-powering for my taste.

Thanks for the info guys, I can get both of those blends at a local pipe shop.

Ted, had to go into work early this morning, but I'm leaving in an hour and will stop by the post office on the way home. You should see the books in a couple days.
