Re: Christmas Cheer (Pick a year, any year.)
I'm about half way through a tin of '07 CC, contributed by Johnny as the Phillies were swept by the Rockies way back in October. Although no fault of Johnny, I'm underwhelmed by this tin. Usually, I'll buy two tins each year, smoke one and age one. But as others have pointed out, there are better VAs for the price right now.

Re: Christmas Cheer (Pick a year, any year.)
Sorry to hear that Scott, maybe it needs some time
I do agree with all of you that overall CC is not a cut above any of the other MC Va's.
Rog, I just opened an 05 and it is tasty though. A bit spicy, but actually very close to the 06 I smoked a while back. Whatever that distinct "CC" flavor is, I like it. I can't imagine what a 95' tin must taste like!

p.s. Jim, I'll bet if you hold on to the tins for a few more years they might bring a nice price on Ebay. Right now they are asking about 40 dollars for an 00'. Then you could use the money to get other tins for the cellar, and even have a bit left over to get Karen something nice, LOL.

Karen who? Oh...ummm yah.
I had given that some thought, (I mean the e-bay thing, not necessarily the spending it on Karen part). Another e-bay thought are the tins of Anniversary Blend I have from McClelland. I was doing the part time thing at the local tobacco shop when it first came out, (the red seals). I picked up four tins and have them stuck way back in the cellar.

Well Scott, a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do. I am fairly sure that if you just buck up and go for it, you will be able to pull it off.

Re: Christmas Cheer (Pick a year, any year.)
I haven't tried the CC yet, mainly due to cost. But I see where a lot of ya'll smoke 2015. Where can I get some? I smoke the heck out of 5100 and love it. I've looked at several tobacco shops around but can not find any.
