H&H Larry's Blend
This is another in the Hearth and Home series blended by Russ Ouellette of Habana Premium Cigar (also known as Pipes and Cigars). It's a full Balkan blend with VA, Orientals (the description refers to them as "buttery") and lots of Latakia. It was developed as a stronger version of 10 To Midnight, another H&H blend. This was done after a request by a regular customer.
Larry's Blend is about average in the packing, lighting, and burn dep't. It's flavor is a slightly sweet creamy smokiness that is very appealing and reminds me a little bit of Frog Morton. There is some complexity in this blend as the taste will vary a bit as the bowl burns down. There is usually a bit of dottle left in the bottom of the bowl.
I find this blend to be a very good full Balkan and would recommend it highly. With some age on it, it can only get better. I'll be ordering more of this.
