Prince Albert in the tub

I’ve been smoking again for close to two months now, and I don’t think there is a finer blend than Prince Albert in the tub.

It smokes good in all my pipes…straight or bent, big or small bowl. It always smokes cool, and has a great, old-time pipe aroma. It stays lit better than any other blend I’ve tried, and never leaves any goop in the bottom of my pipes. The taste is the same from the first puff to the end of the bowl, and to me that is a good thing. Although sometimes on relights near the bottom I get a very distinct cigar taste, but only for a couple puffs, then it’s back to the good, burley taste. And to top it off it is cheaper than any bulk blend from my local pipe shop. They sell PA for $23/tub, but I can get it at Walmart for less than $18. That works out to $1.27/oz.

I would say that right now PA in the tub is my favorite tobacco.

I always have a tub of PA around the place. My experience is the same as yours Brandon except in a few of my pipes it seems to get real bitter at the bottom.
