Well Ted, they say the taste buds and the sense of smell tend to go haywire when ya get old, so your nose smeller has been broke, most likely, for several years..... Image
I've got a sample here from a taste test right now that I'm sure is McClelland due to that very smell.... Black shag sounds good and I'll have to see about getting some.... emoticon

Most of the reviewers at T-R panned this (2 stars), but they're not smoking it right! One guy said to keep it tamped to keep the air reduced, and he's right. When smoked slowly like that, it's a good, tasty, stoved VA blend. Thanks to Brandon for the tin! emoticon

I wish I could smoke it. There is a part of it that I just can't taste because of meds and stuuff. When the time comes I will try a bowl. I'm lucky if I can smoke 2 bowls a month of any tobacco like this.. In the mean time I can sure enjoy the Va's. I am looking forward to the time when all my taste buds come back from this damn long vacation emoticon

Roger, I fight with taste bud problems too, due to meds(I take 12 prescriptions). Sometimes, everything tastes the same, a salty or metallic taste. I hate it. emoticon
