Fly Fishing Maine

Well, Brandon inspired me to finally get around to posting a few pics of me out on the canoe in Maine from the summer. I was fishing for Bass with a small floating popper.

Johnny, that takes me back many years...I was married to a girl from Ark. and used to fish the great bass lakes there

Re: Fly Fishing Maine

Thanks guys. Yep it was a great time.

Ted, I think I had Kajun Kake in that corncob, LOL.

All the fish? Just caught a bunch of smallmouth bass, but nothing big enough to keep or warrant a photo. They all went back in the lake emoticon

What I really want to catch is one of the Northern Pike in the lake or one of the big Lake Trout but by late August when we go they have all gone too deep to mess with a fly rod.

Nice setting Johnny. Looks like a dream trip. I confess to being a bit envious.
