"The Rest/Rack is done!"

Well I've been working on this rack design for a while now. It is what I call a Rest/Rack because it works like a rack that can be hung on the wall or put on a table-top much like a rack, yet the pipes set in the rack much like in a pipe rest. It displays the pipes well and with the wide spacing will hold just about any size pipe. In the one photo you'll see the bullcap on the bottom shelf and it still has lots of space left. The rack is actually small compared to regular racks that hold 18 pipes and I can make it about 3" shorter if I want. I made this one as a special order for Ken and it will be on it's way to him soon. Take a look and let me know what you think. This design will be one that I'll be making too take to St. Louis for the pipe show in Feb. I'll be making them to hold more pipes and also less too. I really like the design.

John....sugar dispenser? Have you thought of using egg cartons? They make excellent pipe racks, and the price is right! I still have one in the shop for my "shop-pipes". emoticon
