Hello from Germany

Hello,

we are Astrid and Tom from Duisburg, Germany.

We are married for a long time and have 3 kids, 2 cats and a rabbit.

Tom is a pipesmoker for nearly 25 years now. Firstly I loved pipes made by german pipemakers. But also I love every good pipe, whereever it comes from. Mostly I smoke VA/Perique Tobaccos, but also I like tobaccos leike the C&D Oriental Silk. One of the best tobccos I ever smoked.

Astrid is a nonsmoker, but she likes pipes. As a hobby I make pipebags for friends. If anyone comes and say "Hey Astrid, can you make me a bag?" I sit down and think about.

If you want to take a look on my bags, please look here:

On this site is also a linklist belongs to pipethemes!

At the time the ite is only in german but we hope, that someday we will do ist in Englsih also!

Please forgive our bad English but we hope, it will be better in a short time. Our eldest son now begins learning English in school and so we will learn with him.

By the way: I (Tom) would like to introduce some german pipemakers to you if you want. Is that ok?

All the best

Astrid and Tom

A hearty "How-Deeeee!" from Missouri to the both of you! I would love to see some German hand-crafted pipes and meet their makers...always enjoy seeing fine briar and meerschaum.

No problem with your English that I can see. It is wonderful that you will be learning with your Eldest..."and a child shall lead them". Of course, you are more than welcome to practice on us! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Look forward to having you both here! emoticon emoticon
