Greg contacted me a while back to do a refurb on a kaywoodie for him. He sent me the pipe and I got it done. Here it is before and after.

Re: Refurb for Biggmann!

i found that kaywodie in an antique store for $10. the screw in stem didnt screw in square (when screwed in all the way it still needed to go bout another quarter turn), but there is some crazy birdseye on the right side of it, and there was only minor teeth marks on it. ive only seen one other pipe like it and it was a kaywoodie carburetor with the same markings (white circle/black spade and '04' on the right side) and it was supossed to have been built in the 70's and the going price for it was $45 IIRC. im happy with it and elated at the way it looks now. cant wait to light it up emoticon emoticon

WOW WOW WOW!!!!!

i got her in the mail today, and let me tell you, that picture does this pipe and the work put into it ANY justice at all. it looks like a brand new pipe. the insode of the bowl...looks like a brand new pipe. all ofit...looks brand new. if not for a little char on the rim of the bowl, i would swear that this pipe came from a collectors box in his attic or something. the shine is fantastic on it, Steve, and all the lettering is still as sharp as when i sent it to you. how did you clean it up so well without taking off aly lettering?

Greg, It was in good shape to begin with, so just took it easy on the buffing wheel.

I'm glad you like the finished product. Enjoy it.... emoticon

Great work, Steve emoticon emoticon It does look brand new.

Greg, I'm sure it will look great on your rack, but more importantly, hanging from your kisser.
