Kaywoodie Pipes

I want to bring a new line of pipes in. Watching the different forums I see that many smokers like Kaywoodie a lot. It seems that each pipe smoker has at least one. How would you guys rate it? Advantages? Downside?

KW's are good lower end pipes...I've had a few and found them to be decent smokers...prefer Dr.G's though...

I like their Gold series.
Seems to be a good pipe.

Re: Kaywoodie Pipes

Most every pipe my dad ever bought was a Kaywoodie, and when I started the pipe I followed the same path. They were good, solid, and well made pipes. For whatever the reason they hit a bit of a slump a number of years ago and the quality was less than expected for a time. In the past several years Bill Feuerbach has turned that back around and the company is turning out a quality product again. What I like most about them is they make a range of pipes for everyone. Of course the lower priced pipes are not top notch in quality but a good solid smoker none the less.
