Hello from Kentucky!

Hey all,

Just joined the forum and thought I'd say hey.

Fairly new to pipe smoking (couple months)but it's getting in my blood quick! I've been doing a ton of reading and am really enjoying the hobby.

Hi Chris, Welcome to the Forums. Look forward to your contributions. What kinds of tobacco are you enjoying?

Welcome Chris...you are from a great tobacco producing state; I love blends with the "dark fired" Kentucky

Re: Hello from Kentucky!

Thanks so much for the warm welcome everyone! It's much appreciated.

I started out with a good ole Dr. Grabow and a couple of cobs. PAD gotta hold of me real quick and I now have around 25 estate pipes off ebay. I've been working on cleaning them up and hopefully there's a couple of good smokers in the bunch.

I've been enjoying some blends from a local B&M lately. My Blend, Chocolate Mountain, and #1 Special. It's a place called Oxmoor Smoke Shop that's been around for 30 years.

But I'm also going to be ordering a few tins to try from Cup O Joe's here soon.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone and continue my learning!

Chris

Welcome Chris. I have an aunt and uncle in E-town. Had a great time there a couple years ago....went to Thunder, Churchill Downs, and Maker's Mark distillery. Beautiful state you live in.
