Re: DnD 4.0
The online function of DnD 4.0 sounds interesting. Making an adaptation of a big game with the parties playing on a board but the DMs making movements on the online game. Sounds a lot easier to connect with other player's.

Should i even bother?
You have the feeling because it's true. Shut the **** up Joseph. Don't bother.

Re: DnD 4.0
It'll be interesting to see what they take from Star Wars and add into 4.0. Hows saves were changed in Star Wars sounds interesting so it'd be cool to see something like that in 4.0. besides for it sounding like a cool game, by playing Star Wars you guys get to have a sneak preview of 4.0, heh. Hopefully they will still let you customize skill choice more in 4.0 though, that sounded lame in Star Wars.

Re: DnD 4.0
i rather like how they give like a dozen uses of a single skill instead of just the one... like u have to invest skill points into balance to only be able to balance, where as they made skills like acrobatics to do all those kinds of skills like balance, climb, and tumble among other things (standing up as a swift action is only a DC 15 check instead of the DnD DC 35).

Re: DnD 4.0
I liked that but i want them to keep skill points so you can either be good at some things and worse at others, not just completely dependant on your abilities and what skills you have trained.

Re: DnD 4.0
well here is what ive found out about skills among other things....
"-Still D20, still have the OGL, but modified (I wasn't able to attend the OGL meeting that night). The skill system would be truncated; if you want to be a tailor, write tailor on your sheet because they're tossing profession: tailor. The focus will be on active skills. Some skills are getting combined. Who buy Hide without Move Silent? Almost no one, so they're getting combined. Skills will also be more interactive; diplomacy should be more than just a single die roll."
