Re: Ruins of Bordega
Starting Points
Linny: 26
Eric: 25
Mop: 25
Bathim: 24
Cyde: 11
Sasha: 10
Sooo... After we found THE most annoying angels in the history of ever (okay, so they're the only angels I've ever met. But seriously, I don't think that there could be more annoying ones if they tried) but we got them to agree to leave with us. As we reached the entrance, the ever-so-charming Lyarna were there threatening some poor girl with spears to make her come in. They seemed surprised to see us, and surprised to see the most annoying angels in the history of ever. Either way, we walk out and introduce ourselves to the girl - a half-elf by the name of Sasha. So Mop tells them that we want to leave to go to town to prepare for the big battle that will likely occur once we go up that elevator. They tell her that we need to talk to the jerk who wouldn't sell us healing potions in order to do so. So we go to him. He won't let us, of course, because he's an asshole and I hate him. First Bathim tried to suggestion him into letting us go. (+2) This didn't work. (-1) Which was immediately followed by Mop tricking him into thinking we had to go. (+2) Which was awesome, even if they sent fourteen guards with us. (Yes, a little bit of overkill on their part, but I suppose they just really didn't want us to go?)
So we were escorted back to town, where we split up. I went and indulged in drinking, with my guard companions. I drank them under the table, and saw that nice elf again. I should eventually find out what his name is, I suppose. When I met back up with the group, Eric was trying to coordinate a routine featuring himself the little crystal (which can now talk. Ugh. -2 to Bathim) and the most annoying angels in the history of ever. Cyde had, presumably, found out how to eventually get rid of the most annoying angels in the history of ever (+2) and Bathim seemed to have helped. Mop got us healing potions and, presumably, shrink scrolls for the gems. Having eluded her less-than-competent guards. (+2) Sasha had, apparently, gone shopping and arrived with her guards in tow, the two of them carrying a cauldron, spoon, and ten chickens. For some reason. (+1) Also, Mop has started referring to Bathim as "Buttons". (+2) So after a night there, we returned to the ruins to go back in.
Once we got into the ruins, we ran into a bunch of Thri-kreen, and a couple of those crazy giant people. The six of us took them out quite easily, and the most annoying angels in the history of ever proved to be fairly useful. Even if they had spent the last several days complaining endlessly. I don't like them. At all. Mop looted the corpses, as she does, and we went on to the room with the sapphires in it. Shrinking them was easy, though it seemed to turn off the Psionic-ness of the room. And create a null zone, basically a zone where Psionic powers can't be used - poor Buttons. All was mostly well until we went out past the null zone, and Buttons' head started exploding. Eric grabbed him and took him away (+2) while I followed to heal him. Cyde, realizing it was something to do with the sapphires, brought them back into the null zone. (+2) Soon, Eric heard something, and we joined Mop and Cyde back in the hallway leading to the Sapphire room - in the null zone. With an extremely stupid Buttons. Apparently whatever the sapphires did to him made him a moron as well. Joy, that meant I had to deal with him and with the angels. Oh happy day.
It turned out that what was approaching was a bunch more Thri-kreen and a Psi-demon. Mop and Cyde efficiently took out many of the Thri-kreen using fire and ice. (+2, +2) After taking some damage, the Psi-demon fled. Then Cyde had the Best Idea Ever. Put the sapphires out of the null zone. Where they could explode the Psi-demon's head like they had Buttons'. Best. Idea. Ever. (+15) Mop was hesitant, for obvious reasons, it would put her loot at risk after all. We decided to sleep on it, so I could do something about Buttons' idiocy. On Eric's watch, he saw two of the Psi-demons head towards the entrance. Then Mop saw one nearby that morning, and since no one had seen them come back, that meant that there were at least three running around. Mop agreed to Cyde's plan. (+3) Which, fortunately, did make their heads explode! Yay! Unfortunately, one decided to come into the null field, and used its powers to hurt Mop! This, apparently, just about killed it. Eric made sure. (+2) Then we took out the remaining Thri-kreen, and Mop harvested the emeralds from them after I healed her. Then she hid the gems in the room.
Now we just had to decide how to proceed, we wound up agreeing to head to the elevator and go up. This would prove to be a bad decision. At the top was a giant Avartice diamond that was glowing green. Also several Thri-kreen, a pair of Psi-demons, six of the giant men, and three normal-looking people in front of a GIANT SKELETON WHO WAS TAPPING HIS FINGERS AT US. He was not pleased. He pointed out that we had removed his sapphires and he wasn't happy about it. Then he called us slaves, repeatedly. We all agreed to go put the sapphires back (Eric needed a suggestion from Buttons to do so (-2, +2)) So we agreed to my plan (+3) to send Buttons and Eric out, Mop and I would put the sapphires in my bag and I would follow them with a gaseous form potion handy in case I needed it to get out, and she, Cyde, and Sasha would get the rubies. This plan went off with out a hitch, mostly, except for the fact that they couldn't take the rubies, so they just destroyed them to try to weaken the skeleton. Eric then informed us that one of the people in front of the skeleton was a Crystal Knight, apparently. We quickly told the asshole what we saw, or an abridged version (we left out the Avartice diamond, obviously, the Crystal Knight, and that we had the sapphires) and he sent guards to escort us back to town where the Lyarna would, hopefully, be happy with this information and let us go on our way.
We considered killing the guards on our way, but decided to just divvy up gaseous form potions in case we needed them, and to confront the Lyarna. That went uneventfully, though we all were reminded that we hate the Lyarna. With a passion. Oh, how I hate them. So much. We took the option to not work for them, ever again. Ever. Again. Then Cyde told the most annoying angels in the history of ever how to leave. (+2) which they promptly did. I went to the temple to spend some time with some other followers of Geshtai, which is always fun. Mop went to see about selling things and getting ahold of her Vendegan contact. Eric and Cyde went to the library, and I'm not certain what Sasha and Buttons did. The next day, I ran into the nice elf again. I was also drunk at the time. I invited him back up to my room. (-5) The next day Mop talked to her contact again, this time with Buttons. When she returned, she told us we were leaving. Now. Apparently, we were going to Vendega. (-3, -3) Not. Good.
Mop and Buttons assured me - thoroughly - that there was someone influential there who would protect Eric from knowledge of the slavery, and not let his dreams be crushed yet. (+5, +5) Though if I have anything to say about it, he will be a Crystal Knight. I just haven't quite figured out HOW I'll manage that one yet. So we left the city, and met up with three Vendegans who teleported us out of Bordega, and to Vendega. It was very impressive, I'll admit, but I was more than a little nervous. I stuck close to Eric as we teleported from some sort of travel hub to the top of some (very cold) stairs, where we met a Knight by the name of Kenneth.
He brought us past what I assumed were many slaves (I later would find out that they were, in fact, paid servants) and to a room with a large table where we all sat down. He explained who he was, and how important the information we had given him was. Then he offered Eric, Sasha, and I something to protect us. Well, he told Sasha and I the whole truth, that it was to protect us from slavers and such, but he didn't share that with Eric. We agreed, and he asked us what we wanted as a reward. And told Eric that he would help him if possible on his way to becoming a Knight. This, more than anything, helped me relax around him. Cyde asked for access to libraries and such, Mop was silent, Sasha asked for items, Buttons didn't say anything, Eric just grinned. I don't have much I want, besides Eric being protected, and anything the rest of the group wants. Though finding my father eventually would be nice, I suppose. But that's not too important.
He told us that the Crystal Kingdom would buy the sapphires, and that we had some payment options. One was the option for Buttons and either Cyde or Mop to be declared Counts and to get their own land in Vendega complete with castles. One was to have land anywhere in Bordega with any sort of house or structure we wanted. And the last was basically a free favor sometime in the future. He also offered us each a nice item of our choice, and told us we didn't have to decide now. Then he and I spoke privately - since I wasn't about to mention my primary want of keeping Eric protected in front of the poor guy. He told me that he was trying to work on some legislation that would get rid of slavery in Vendega if possible, and that he wanted to possibly use Eric politically to such an end. And in doing so slowly expose him to the negative parts of Vendega, so that he wouldn't ever have one defining moment of realizing that his ideal world wasn't so ideal. He also offered to have someone locate a nearby temple to Geshtai for me. I am appeased.
Current standings:
Mop: 38
Cyde: 34
Count Buttons: 28
Eric: 27
Linny: 24
Sasha: 11

Re: Ruins of Bordega
I in Vendega ^___^. I met a krystul knight and Vendega very nice, they told us where we find Regi. We all very worried bout Reji. When we last go to tempul he not there, mop say sine of strugle, that bad. Mop choosing to locate Reggie +2
Vendega say that he was last seen in vilage with half giant, so we look up in librury how to hurt half giant in case they not do diplomacy. Linny like diplomacy, she says nobody wants diplomacy. Buttons and Cyde researching half-giants +2 each
When we go there it small village inside a large hole in the sands. Half giants very nice, they even grow pretty plants. Side hurt plants, he say they not belong. I not understand why he destroy them even tho they not belong, they pretty. Cyde pulling parts off the plants, and upsetting the half-giants -3
Half giants let us go into cave where we last told regi is. They call regi blue warrior which was making me wurry, regi not like battle, it might been the other guy in regi.
We found a circle on the ground, and Batheem threw a cat in there to activate it... +1
We didn't see that cat agin. . .
After cat went in sirkul it gloed and big guys in armor came out, they start attacking so we attack back. There was bright flash each time that make others not see for a while. [Previous point given to Buttons removed due to consequences of action (-1) Eric and Cyde both were very good at stopping the warriors. +1 each, -1 to Sasha for spending most of the battle blinded.[/col]
Bateem through giant boulder on sirkul with his mind. Kenneth is teaching me to do this as well. Kenneth is best guy ever. He crystal knight. He say maybe I be crytal knight. I went and say royal palace it was very large and very pretty. I want go back. . . +3 to Buttons for the boulder throwing.
Right! We continued and found a very large statue of a dragon they told me to turn, it was heavy but I very strong. Doors opened when I did and we then all got to fly thanks to batheem. Mop has a para sal, it makes her fly. Mop worries me, she is always invisable, I think someday she might not know where she is, it must be hard to walk like that, get lost easy. +1 for Sasha for climbing on the dragon and +2 for discovering it could be turned, +2 to Eric for moving the statue
Mop say there are traps, she was right. Her and bateem switched bodies. Tehy looked at 2 stones for a while telling me they did it. +3 to Mop for noticing and warning about the traps. -1 to each her and Buttons for managing to get their bodies switched.
We moved on after they not figure it out and we met a beholder! He was nice...but he not like Bateem. He turned her or him...Umm. Mop got put into bateems body and then bateem into Mops and they talk like eachother and was confusing. But Bateems body got frozen into stone and after diplomacy ( ^___^ ) we got them back to normal, but it cost us some items from the beholder. He was a cleric of Pelor and told us where to find Regi. -1.5 to Mop for getting herself... Or, well, Buttons' body and her mind or soul or whatever turned to stone and -.5 to Buttons for that, +2.5 to Buttons for getting the Beholder to agree to turn her back and +.5 to Mop for that, +2 to Eric for giving up his bow and putting Mop in the portable hole, +1 to Sasha for agreeing to explain to Mop WHY she was in the hole, +1 to me for giving up my orb of environmental adaptation to get him to supposedly ask Pelor questions for us.
Creepy stones eat souls. Thats bad. -3 to Sasha for being inflexible and unwilling to negotiate.
Shortly after we found Regi and then started to go but then Side started reading again. His eyes caught fire and it was scary. But we not worried because we go Vendega and they fix it all! Cyde reading things he shouldn't. AGAIN -4 He managed to blind himself. -3 Moron. Mop convincing Reggie to come with us back to Vendega +1.5, +.5 to Buttons
When back in Vendega Kenneth said that there is a cleric from another country who needs our help so we all got teleported to another country on a flying city ^___^. +3 to me for putting up with the crazy cleric, +1 to each Buttons and Mop for getting themselves fixed.
We all went shopping and it was great, I got a big helm! It good for knight, which I will be. I gonna be krystal night. +2 to each Mop and Sasha for a fun shopping trip, +1 to Eric for carrying things, +1 to me for getting dessication gloves.
Crystal knight!
Current Standings:
Mop: 43.5
Buttons: 37.5
Eric: 33

Sniper's Corner
Yeah, I don't know what to think about this Reydeynia place. Nice weather, Sharn's a great city- until yer broke- and the mentioned 'dangerous kobolds' stay out of sight. +1 for Buttons' new boots from the shopping spree
But whoa, what corruption you find when you go searching! We headed South to look for the origins of Luscious and Luscious- er, I mean Lucius and Lucian- ha hah.
Instead of the supposed town of Odel, we found a farm out here for devil's weed. Now, I ain't got problems with the farming part, but the bad part of this place was, the workers were slaves! +2 to Buttons for throwing someone from a horse, +2 to Sasha for calming the horse.
We couldn't put up with that, and so Mop snuck in the building. She left me and Cyde to guard the roof, and kept everyone else in a bag while she infiltrated the place. I don't know how the fight was going on in there but eventually a half-bat-man appears right nearby me, looking scratched up; and I've been waiting for my chance and shoot! +1 to Mop for scouting out the town, +3 to Mop for breaking in, +1 to each Cyde and Sasha for playing sniper on the roof, +2 to Eric for putting a pair of guards in the portable hold, +1 to Buttons for sending one of the cat people forward in time, +1 to Mop for freeing the cat people, +2 to me for saving Eric.
But yeah, I miss. Gotta work on that sure shot. Cyde takes care of the foul critter and it turns out to be the tiefling we were after, so we snag him and a couple of guards and leave. -1 from Sasha for missing, +2 to Cyde for killing the tiefling
The guards don't know a thing! I'm beginning to think Odel's some lie made up by Luscious and Luscious so they have a city to be from. +1 to each Sasha and Mop for working on getting information out of the mercenaries, +1 to Buttons for making her our friend.
Anyway, not sure I care too much about L&L, because I'm more concerned about the folks back on that farm. We'll see what happens!
Oh, I hired on one of the guards for now, not sure if he'll stick around. His name's Kenneth. He's pretty funny.
Current Standings:
Mop: 49.5
Buttons: 42.5
Eric: 37
Linny: 31
Cyde: 30
Sasha: 16

Re: Ruins of Bordega
They promised knowledge, that there were places on these continents that I could further myself on, but here I am, at a farm on the edge of a lush forest. The only 'challenge' so far a weakling demonic creature that tried to run as soon as the fight turned against him. Weak. They don't know challenge up here, days and nights nearly as comfortable outside as they are in, cities where people huddle together for safety and convenience, hiding from advancement.
We let the slaves free, Bathim tricked the little one into setting fire to the houses. They won't be much better off on their own, but they'll get a taste of having to fight for survival. I almost envy them. The fires...fire purged the land. Memories of the desert came back to me at that, barren, cold, home. Some of my companions seemed to have plans of their own for this farm, but I have no interest. Buttons controlling the gnome and burning the place down +3, Mop unlocking the door to allow for the slaves to run +2
Next it was back into the hole, I'm starting to get a distaste for that place, but better than walking for weeks. We arrived to the north in short enough time and found the two that are supposedly not what they seem to be outwardly. At least that's what we're told.
The others talked with the villagers, talked with Lucien and Lucius, and talked some more. We waited and our help was offered. Eric seemed content helping the peasants learn out to defend their own land from kobolds. I walked around, looked around. Nothing interesting. Avoided the meetings as best I could. I lost track of time, a few days maybe, and we were commissioned by the very people we were here to investigate to help investigate a mine, or clear out some kobolds. Our choice...their choice, something is happening in the mines that they can't explain, it could be interesting. Eric forming guards +2, Sasha +1 for her crush on Lucien
And off we went, to find dead kobolds, but not dead by our hands. Something wasn't right, these kobolds came to kill, maybe they made it in a ways, but whatever they were here for they failed at. Mop seemed happy to acquire their things, no one else is going to need them now. In we went, carelessly as usual, but it's more interesting that way. Right into a trap, corpses came to life and tried their best, Eric stood his ground, despite Linnys appearances she managed to scare the creatures with a look, not like her at all. Mop opened a bag and let loose more vials than I could count as they tumbled out onto the creatures, impressively destructive. I heard the deserts call once again. They didn't last long and further in we went. +2 to Mop for the alchemist's fire stunt, +2 to me for turning undead.
Deeper in, and the next thing I know a large, many eyed creature is staring us down. I've never seen anything like it, spells shot from the eyes and then...I was...very...sleepy..... -1 to Cyde for falling asleep, +2 to Buttons for actually hitting it, +2 to Mop for getting us all out of there
I awoke in the hole again, Eric in as well, or at least his body, whatever that thing was must have gotten the better of us. Once we got back to Lucien and Lucius it was decided, Mop and I would go back to the floating city to better understand this thing, the others would stay and do whatever they please.
One last duty before I say farewell. Another opportunity to learn. Once back at the floating city I found what libraries I could, and buried my head into the books. I wrote all that I could find on the creature, and then went to find Mop. No farewell needed, I handed her the notes and walked away. +1 for finding out about the Beholders, -19 for leaving.
Current Standings:
Mop: 55.5
Buttons: 47.5
Eric: 39
Linny: 33
Sasha: 17
Cyde: 11
After Mop and Cyde left for Sharn, I recieved an urgent message from Kenneth that he needed us as soon as possible and would be sending people to come and get us. I let him know that Mop and Cyde wouldn't be able to come along, since they were away, and he said it would be fine. So I let Sasha, Buttons, and Eric know that we were leaving.
Sasha agreed to let Lucien and Lucius know (shocking as that may be) and Eric set up shifts of guards for while we would be gone. We said good-bye, and were brought to a city unfamiliar to me. Somewhere in Vendega. It was cold. We met Kenneth there, and he told us that what he was about to ask of us was something we could never ever share with anyone else. Ever. We, naturally, agreed, and he began his explanation.

Re: Ruins of Bordega
Gnome. So...Side found my some info on beholders, he was all 'take this it will aid you only your journey' (only, flump, hand stuff + run). It was really helpful, it didn't tell me any uber weak spots or anything. It had a lot of creepy pictures. Gnome. So I bought stuff, a wand of blow **** up and a scroll of don't tase me dude. I ran into this druid, he was adamant about not being seen for what he was. I asked him if he could turn into a dire badger. He said yes. His name is now Nathaniel. So, we went back north and then gnome gnome gnooome. Sasha, gnome gnome, gno! And gnome gnome, gnome gnome! Gnome, gnome financial conquest of the world, gnome!
Met up with the group. They aren't that exciting. Gnome! They tryed to poorly conceal stuff from me, Eric told me the info I needed to know (big baddies want us dead, what's new?). They didn't tell me what occurred from what I can tell...Kennith is a douche and they made enemies. +2 to Buttons and Sasha for keeping quiet, +1 to Eric since he kept quiet except for what Mop really needed to know, -5 to Sasha for getting so smitten with Lucien that she stopped spending time wtih us.
We killed the beholder, it was easy. I blew **** up with fireballs. I think the lack of Cyde has increased my desire to blow things up. Nathaniel tried to help, he made the mist come but then I blew it away as to damage the beholder. +2 to Mop for the fireballs, +2 to Eric for making sure the Beholder was dead.
Then we got a new mission, find out what happened to the guardian of the cave (underdark). We met a creepy lady, she was into necromancy. Don't do necromancy kids, it's bad! She controlled Eric and Buttons. They tried to kill Linny, she had to flee. I tumbled onto the Badger and he charged the door/wall down! We beat her up, Eric and Buttons tried to make us dead. She fled, we went after her, she died. Badgers and gnomes make the best teammates! +3 to me for not letting myself get dominated, -1 to Buttons for letting himself get dominated and therefore trying to, y'know, kill me. -1 to Eric for that as well. +2 to Nathaniel for stopping her and +2 to him for running through the wall.
Then we met the undead dwarf, badger told me he smelt like death. I asked him about it, I assumed he was a servant of the creepy lady and I was ready for a fight. But instead he got all pissy and wanted us to piss on his brother's grave. We didn't. He was pissy. Instead we went to the underdark. We tried to get info. Buttons tried to manipulate the high priestesses' daughter. He told me to kidnap her, we did. I should never listen to Buttons again. We fled. We went into the stone. I sat outside the hole. I played with chalk. Also, gnome gnome gnome. I found out Buttons got a tail, he ruined his nice boots! Buttons blew up her mind. We fled. Bad stuff. We went out of the underdark and are now heading back down. -2 to Mop for antagonizing the dwarf, -3 for deciding asking about the city was a good idea, -2 for kidnapping the priestess, -1 to Buttons for killing the priestess, +2 to Buttons for killing the priestess, +2 to Nathaniel for helping me stoneshape us out.
Current Standings:
Buttons: 58.5
Mop: 50.5
Eric: 46
Linny: 39
Sasha: 19
Nathaniel: 14
Cyde: 11

Re: Ruins of Bordega
A crumpled piece of parchment lies in a corner of the portable hole, the writing is slightly illegible; As if it's writer was under great stress or was just having trouble seeing what he/she was writing. It reads as follows:
We abducted Sasha at a rendezvous point, it will be safer to have one less person They know about. For now our plan is to contact one of the 15. This idea itself is one of lunacy, yet we have so few option at the moment. +2 to Sasha for actually being here
My friends decided to disguise Sasha, Mop, and Linny; as a human, halfing, and a different half-elf respectably. Why they did not choose being that actually resided in the Underdark I don't know. I of course opted to stay in here, not out of any love for this place. During travel it was cramped and stuffy, now, as my temporary residence it is practically unbearable (unbadgerable, gnome gnome). +1 to Mop for disguising us
I gave them the ability to fly once more and followed their reports as the landed in the section we'd discovered to most densely hold the Illithids. +2 to Buttons for the flying
For the next several hours, I've begun to lose track...the Badger, Eric, and my Crystal played cards. He beat me again, clever creature. After this grew boring I amused myself and satisfied the badger's hunger by throwing him animals from my bag...he even ate a smaller badger.
They came back, and had found little to no information. I doubt I'd have done much better, but waiting for so long in here was quite unpleasant. Cards and bags will so do little to stall the boredom.
They went out again, this time resolved to actually talk with a Mind Flayer...and our group's lovely luck kicked in. They came across a apparently powerful member of the abominations, who decided they'd be more use to him on his own terms. Luckily, Linny has uncanny resistance to any attempts to probe her mind, and was able to save Sasha from great peril. -3 from Mop for getting us into that mess, +3 to me for getting us out
Displeased with our current plan of action, they took my suggestion to find a place to observe the illithids and drow interacting; Hoping to find two groups to play against each other (its our specialty, after all). +1 to Buttons for the reasonable suggestion
My Crystal has informed me that they have been spotted by a Drow party. These may be the last words I write. With any luck we'll take most of them down with us.
The next passages are much clearer to read, care taken by the scribe and apparently written in proper conditions:
Salvation. Mop, in a moment of wisdom, saw fit to use the favor granted to us by the Kingdom. We woke up to a scenery much like Rynn, and soon discovered that the Kingdom really came through. +5 to Mop for finally USING the damn crystal, -4 to Mop for letting it get that bad before doing so
They assembled nearly their entire force and wiped that foul den from existence. Kenneth told us the details of the attack and said he'd look forward to meeting again in the spring.
Over the past 5 months we've put most of our effort into raising Rynn into more than a ragtag farmer settlement. Eric creating a suitable guard and those of us not directly affiliated with the Kingdom helped in creating a government and laws of the small country. Sasha is to be married to one of a L brothers.
Once Spring arrived we contacted Kenneth for our new assignment. Apparently the Whore survived the purging and purification of that putrid place, and is beginning to stir up trouble for the Kingdom.
The full details of our task were somewhat confusing. Kenneth began asking us to investigate the Azure Plains, But we had to go to Napolde first...but to go there we need ed to go to Elvendar to get a mirror from them.
We set off for Elvendar but about 5 miles before reaching the city we were met by a patrol. They disliked the majority of us, but Badger was able to convince them to let us in (Oh yes, he turned out to be a goblin of all things, but seems to be embarrassed by his small size. So he stays as Badger). +3 to Nathaniel
We met with an Elder by the name of Estron, who surprisingly just up and gave us the mirror, even saying that we should ask about "Silavien" when we get to Napolde. Odd for him to be so helpful, but apparently we were foretold to take the mirror. Saves bloodshed, so I suppose it's for the best.
Current Standings:
Buttons: 61.5
Mop: 49.5
Eric: 46
Linny: 43
Sasha: 21
Nathaniel: 17

Re: Ruins of Bordega
So after our visit to Elvendar (worst. city. name. ever.) Where we successfully retrieved the mirror, we headed back to Rynn for Sasha's wedding. The wedding and ceremony would have been much better had Lucius not been there, stupid Lucius. But otherwise it was a nice wedding.
A couple weeks after the wedding, a strange, slightly frightening man approached me and told me that Kenneth was in trouble, and that we needed to go to Elvendar in order to help him and recieve a change in our assignment. After he left, I sent a sending to Kenneth to see what was going on, but got no acknowledgment. So I talked to the rest of the party, and we agreed to go back to the city with the worst name ever in order to see what was going on, even though we weren't sure we trusted the shifty-looking man who said he worked for Kenneth.
After arrival in Elvendar, we ran into the creepy man again, and he brought us underground. Where he told us of the situation. While occasionally brandishing a giant knife. Which Sasha kept telling him not to do. (+2)
He told us that Kenneth was in trouble. He also told us that we shouldn't go to Napolde anymore, and if we did we shouldn't see the people we had intended, since they may or may not be related to why he was in trouble in the first place. He agreed to give the mirror either to the people Kenneth intended us to, or to its original owner. We opted for the original owner. He then told us that the best way we could help Kenneth was by going to Bordega (yay Bordega! Where the weather's actually bearable.) to find an informant of the Crystal Kingdom's who was working for the Lyarnas, which we agreed to do.
And so, off we went to Bordega! Where we considered talking to the Lyarna or the Elb'arehn, or the Tunari again. We sort of investigated the Lyarna and found out that they were losing control of the city because everyone was leaving. We found out that they were being sent to the pyramid ruins that had the angry skeleton and the gems in them. Where there is now a mass-grave that contains many, many dead. But probably not him.
We left, heading for Reggie's ruins. Where Nathaniel tried to scry the missing contact.(+2) He failed, though. (-1) Which summoned giants, and various controlled things, and a Psi-devil. Eric was amazing with his glaive. (+5) As was Nathaniel with his, well, claws. (+4)
And then, I let Buttons die. (-5) We won, eventually. Then we headed back to Rakstallak, where we had Buttons brought back. Then two guys who were contacts of Kenneth found us and told us that the option they would like us most to pursue was killing the angry skeleton in the pyramid ruins. We hesitantly agreed, and they agreed to help us get a device/item/something to help us capture him, since they would prefer him alive. Or, undead. Whatever.
Current Standings:
Buttons: 61.5
Mop: 49.5
Eric: 51
Linny: 37
Sasha: 23
Nathaniel: 22

Re: Ruins of Bordega
Kenneth still in trouble, so we need help him. Kenneth's leeyayzon said he Kenneth for us, I not believe him, but he say to help Kenneth we have a few choices to help real Kenneth. Sasha and Badger got sick so we not sure what we should do. The party talked a lot about what we should do, a lot (It very boring.) So we finally decide we go to Jendega and destroy a statue to help Kenneth. Jendega is weird place that not like outsiders, I told I and friends are outsiders so we have to sneak. We also get told that if we enter Jendega, because we outsiders that Jendega know we there and send people to attack us. When we show up Callipso. . . OH! Mop left us and at same time Buttons brought in new member to help party, her name Cahlipso Dragonstorm, she do magic. Back to Jendega, Callipso brought out fast horse and we wait in hole while she run around island. After a while we come out of hole and are on a mountain and look for shrine that have idole in it. Buttons send out Cryshtul Night on heroic scouting mission. Once it found then we move up to cave, the settlement not have anyone in it, someone say they warned of us.
As soon as we get in to temphul we get attacked by 4 guys wearing weird robes, they not tough, but not nice. There lots of drawings of family...it weird, I not sure why we supposed to destroy family statue, but not Kenneth tell us real Kenneth want us to destroy it, so we destroy it. We look around for a while and not find the statue, but we find very.... very long scroll and Linny start to read it. It worry me so I tell to stop. Then we hide in "Rope Trick" which is a dark room with a window in that they cant see, it very neat. While we waiting more Jendega people come and search place, they not find us because we hiding, hee hee. We wait a while then they leave a single person behind to watch. Buttons come down and domanate him, Buttons say he not know anything. Then much more waiting and they come back with old woman, I told by Linny they say she not know anything. I not understand them, but Linny know. More waiting and they com back with a caster and they open door and go down, and not find anything and leave. We go down and Buttons domnate again, he like to do that. Then we make a big wall behind us then open door and go down. Tunnel, at end of tunnel we find idole and quickly destory it.
As soon as we finish destroy Idole TOWER MAGE! He show up and do evil laugh. I grab everyone and Linny teleport us away quick. When we done teleport he still there and very scary. Since we not be able to run we have to fight him. He go for my armor and melt some of it. He very scary but casters hide behind fake Callipso's and she turn tower mage into ice and we smash him to bits. He tell us that we die next time we see him. . .
Then we go back to Vendega and get ready for big temphul adventure.
Oh! Kenneth come back and we see him, he look sick so I make him sentimental get well vase. He say we do good and help him. Yay.

Re: Ruins of Bordega
We met together in Vendega after a time. Kenneth had asked us to take care of the being in the pyramid, and soon. In addition to Linny, Eric, and (Count) Buttons, we had two new folk, both elves and apparently mages.
With research and what we knew, some of the members of the group were able to piece together that the skeleton we'd seen in the pyramid was an ancient Titan and an object, not a person; some sort of projection. The thing's name was Tel, or something.
I was glad to get away from town for a while as I'd been sick and... someone would have eventually noticed. We teleported to Vendgea and Eric wanted to help deal with the corrupt guards we found within the city, so we left as quickly as we could to avoid trouble. Oh! After I got myself a pretty fan.
They had me fly to the pyramid invisible, to the entrance, which was lower then I recall; standing before the entrance was a knight with green crystals shoved through his back. He hold a chain which was anchored to the sand. I could tell something was wrong then but they had me fly towards carrying the bag, and then a dragon rose out of the sand under the knight and gave chase.
After a deadly battle someone caused the crystals to shatter. Eric fell from the sky but he got better.
Our passage was blocked, however, by a shimmering rainbow of color, which the mages could not destroy. Buttons and Eric found a beautiful crystal the size of Eric's head, which Eric threw at the barrier, and this dispelled it. The crystal was destroyed and turned to sand; the sand was a swirl of rainbow.
Within the pyramid we found four rooms around a central room, one for each season. Summer was a brilliant carving of a sun; Winter's raven unfurled on the circle of the icy room; the moon lay in the spring room, flowers strewn about her, and fall's was a dying tree with ivy all about.
Larian (was that his name? I've gotten so terrible with....anyway) apparently knew something of this, and enacted a ritual within the circle of fall. But it rejected him and threw him out of the circle, and out of the circle arose a giant man of ivy, who attacked us all... it took hold of Buttons and we defeated it with fire, with lightning, and with blade.
Once it had fallen, a glowing orb appeared where it had lain. Larian took this and his arm swallowed it and took on the same glow. However our victory was short lived, for the field that protected us from psionics had been taken down so we could fight with full strength and... the Titan's army teleported in to crush us all. Those in the center circle were surrounded. Eric threw our portable hole down for them and then..I watched as everyone ran for the hole and I...was stuck outside it, helpless. The winged Devil went to scoop the hole up and put it in a bag. I fled just in time to avoid a huge explosion as all of the control crystals of the minions shattered in one glorious display.
Well we all gathered together and argued about what to do next, and finally agreed to get rest.
After rest, I asked to do the summer ritual, hoping it would heal my condition. There is only so long someone can cough up blood before someone notices, and...well anyway the idea of the ritual was explained to me and I went to the circle and took the proper steps.
I expected, from what I had been told, that there would be trouble, and that I might have to justify myself to the man who appeared but he merely spoke to me calmly and called me accused mother and asked if it was time...then asked what I wanted, and he agreed to heal me and aid...Pelor?
And I reappeared with the group; whatever test it was I had passed and there was no battle.
We then went to winter, and I had hoped that so long as we chose wisely who to do the ritual, that there would be no trouble. Unfortunately the one we chose hid himself in a bubble while we fought his test for him. Four skeletons appeared, covered in black flame, and attempted to burn us all. Two took interest in me while the other turned their attention to Eric. Those who suffered from the fire of the skeletons became covered in a firey aura as black as the skeletons themselves were.
I managed to avoid the fire and all of us managed to kill the four skeletons, but during that Eric was consumed by the flame.
