Maiess: An Origin of Evil.
My “name” is Maiess The Manslayer. That wasn’t my born-name, but I prefer this one over that garbage. It was something like “Fairyeyes Stevenson” (Note: Real birthname is Amati Steelsmith). “Maiess” being of my whore-mother’s fairy tongue, having a similar sound that my “Surname” does to humans.
For the longest time my father and I…didn’t get along too well, you could say. He was an alleged “great warrior.” I got to learn firsthand from a young age his amazing “combat prowess”. Weekly, if I was lucky. He’d come home drunk, usually, but not always. And beat me. Slap me with a sword. Saying I looked like my “whore-mother.”
It was nice to have something in common with him; a hatred for my mother for leaving me with him.
But I got older, and cried. It hurt, yeah. Being beaten within an inch of my life on a regular basis kind of sucked, yeah. My philosophy is this: if you have a problem, fix it on your own. And I did. One day, my father had come home drunken, grabbed me by my upper body and flung me into a wall, I had a rough day due to some teenage bull****. 22 years I’d been alive. 22 years I’d been beat by this stupid human. So finally in a fit of rage, I grabbed one of his “special longswords,” which he loved more than me. I drove it right into his stomach. He coughed and hacked. I watched. The bastard had it coming, his last words were all swears to me.
I aspire to join the Scar Enforcers one day…maybe I’ll meet my mother. Hopefully she’ll end up just like my father.
