From the Annals: The History of Larien and Kamos

For the sections with poor grammar and spelling, blame Jerd.
The following is subject, and likely, to change.

The collections of these events has been written to share the accounts of our adventures. It has been altered from the original first person auto-biography to give an accurate and unbiased telling of these events.

Chapter 1:

Babysitting and flower picking

The first time Kamos and Larien met was under the employ of Ba’dan; an elven wizard living in Abenhalt. They were entrusted with the checker niece of Badahn and instructed to travel to the northern mountains to retrieve flower petals that only grow around one time of the year. Somewhere along the way the three met a dwarf who was being given trouble by some thieves that had set up a fake road toll, against Larien’s judgement Kamos quickly initiated combat and the half-witted thieves were killed. Kamos decided he felt a connection with the dwarf so he made him come to help them go flower picking. After a couple of days travel the four of them arrived at an ancient temple devoted to fall.
Confused as to their task, they sat around bickering until eventually the moon rose, and with it the flowers blossomed into amazing colors. Kamos set the half-elf to picking the flowers, while Larien continued to examine the area. With the picking of the first flower, a gruesome howling ensued and a set of ghosts appeared. Irritated with the disruption of their garden, Larien and Kamos proceeded to protect the half-elf and decimated their unliving assailants.
After a trek across the countryside the companions arrived again in Abenhalt, where Ba’dan congratulated them on the successful picking of the flowers, and the return of his niece who had survived the adventure. Ba’dan had a new, more exciting task in mind for them; to contact the druid Elisar.

Chapter 2

The Hunt for the Druid; Prepare the Delorean!

Traveling west to the peninsula was a long and dangerous assignment. The travel took roughly four weeks to travel to the peninsula, with the dwarf refusing to ride a horse and needlessly quartering their speed. One night while setting up camp the two elves and the dwarf noticed a large fountain that appeared as if from nowhere, reeking of powerful magics.
The three approached the fountain and found themselves at the entry way to a large Peloran church, built with an unknown form of architecture, though Trowel was certain that it must have been built by a master stone smith. They walked up to the doors, and which point they noticed that they were guarded by two humans fully equipped in plate armor. They initiated a conversation with the guards to attempt to ascertain where they, and the enormous structure they were guarding, came from. After a long conversation, Larien was thoroughly stumped, but Kamos' extreme intellect came to the conclusion that there were some strange magics about. It was a good thing he came along.
When the troupe went to leave the church grounds the world around them changed to a graveyard. Magic shenanigans theory confirmed, the crew went to see if there was anyone in the tomb in the graveyard. It turned out there was a priest to Wee Jas. After some conversing they learned they were in a city called Endonstar, which as far as the elves knew did not exist.
They were forcefully sent to three more places; a “hall of the mirror,” a room filled with candles, and the inside of the peloran church they had seen before. In the hall of the mirror they encountered a Crystal Knight who would not let them pass, but in the Peloran Church they encountered a hostile fire-elemental-angel wielding a large flaming axe. After decimating the... thing, they equipped Trowel with a new great axe and left. After solving the intricate puzzles of the areas, Larien guessed that these were pieces of the past and future which were stuck in a time warp of some sort. Stuck inside was the Druid Elisar, so luckily for here sake the Elves and dwarf also got trapped. When they escaped, she was freed as well. After explaining the temple of moon-flowers, she agreed to meet with Ba'dan after she had returned to her home for a short stay.
