Alberts Treasonous Fan-Boy Vacation
As you several heros travel along their journey, stopping ever so briefly in the lands of the south. A nice vacation from the bitter colds of the north, soon to envelop the land.
The town of Eyre, The group split Kaimelar and Albert alone step into the church of Pelor for a chat, and a debriefing, perhaps even a sending to their higher leaders. And the vessel for this long awaited chat catches the eye of Albert. A man named Arcadius, a growing master in the field of Alberts study, gladly helps the two with magics momentarily beyond their grasp. How could Albert pass this opportunity up?
The rest soon arrive and Albert quickly states, that he will momentarily depart from them to learn from this legend in his eyes. The shrug, and continue on to palces far and north while Albert enoys his vacation in the south.
After a rough month as winter soon arrives, Alberts duties catch up with him, but none of his companions have returned. Nonetheless, his new master would be glad to let him speack with his dear companions, and soon be on his way. Saddly this is where things take a turn. Albert sends a message to Kaimelar inquireing about their status, he gets a suprising reply. kaimelar informs him of the treshery of the gnome Krin and his plot to use Sir Borgin to perform a cou. Kaimelar tell him to warn the kingdom as soon as possible.
Albert thinks things over quickly and knows Kaimelar can be trusted, no time to waste, and Arcadius agrees, they're off the Crystal Palace.
They quickly appear on the Central Teleportation area, and Albert hastily bids his teacher farewell as he runs to tell the highest aouthority of this matter. The church of Pelor can be trusted with this matter. He rushes to church and to speak with their employer. He rushes in and informs him of this horrible truth, and how Borgin must be stopped before he can act! And the tables turn once again.
The church is immediately insulted upon this remark. Borgin is a good friend of the church, and a good man, why else would he be a crystal knight. They are also aware of Alberts previous dealings with Krin, now known as a tretcherous evil psion. Jumping to conclusions of this absurd accusation, they have Albert arrested for treason, and are indignant that Kaimelar would even mention such treasonous words!
Albert is thrown into a cell, complete with all the ammenities, Anti-magic/psionic fields, and a nice view, consisting of 4 ectoplasmic walls. He curses them as they throw him in, they see they'll all see!
A month passes, they haven't seen, his only hope for salvation rests upon his lost companions, who knows where they are now?
