Edit: Well its nice to know that raising armies of npcs is discouraged, way too much power in one persons hands is courrupting...trust me i know. And you W.oW. players know too.....

Yeah, nice to know about the undead armies. So if one of us is a necromancer, he can use all the dead bodies we leave behind . Also nice to hear it'll take loads of time to get a caravan across the world. I bet that's where a good portio of our work comes from.

A HUGE portion of our work will be that. Since we're not as experienced as some of the other clans that play on a regular basis with each other (not raggin on us, I know it's difficult) I think it'd be best for us to start with smaller stuff. Possibly adding a few soldiers here and there, protecting caravans and crafting quality items for people.

There were some minior activity on the third of June on the official DF website. Not really a update, they only rewrote the news section. But it atleast says "last updated on June the third".
