A lot of people were just curb stomping this little update. Personally I thought it was great.
Who cares about learning of the gameplay features and magic spells when instead we get info on the comprehensive vid and the release date?
I was satisfied to say the least.

I was also content with this one but the if you look at the release date for the Bakatronix interview it was in 2006.

The release date is a very hot issue.
I think Aventurine really wanted to release DF as son as possibly, but some game features didnt match their standards.
And if they have money and time, why not make it right?
We have seen MMOs degenerate the last years regarding relese, Vanguard, AoC, and many more.
Maybe we for once will get a game that is 100% done at release with DF

There was a short litle update today. They just say thay are working harder then ever and have hired more developers to get the game ready.
And they are working on that new video for us.
