yea i really didn't like those hover things, but it makes sense to have a mass transport for land as well as sea, i just expected something a little more realistic, like something like the sand tank things from the original star wars. But after watching three kings i though for a secret base we could have a normal little town place with the registration things and shops, but have the base be under it, with an opening like a well or something.

am I the only one that thought the hovercrafts were cool?! Not to mention the dramatic music that was played when they hovered in.

lol, nice one akillo, but fo real real, it would be really cool to design your own hover thing and boat. that's what i think might be a downside, is not having the ability to customize your mount, not type, but like color and size and that kind of stuff.

Hey! Snowbo, welcome back, it's good to see you again.
As for an architectural position in the clan. Right off in the beginning of the game I'm sorry to say but you probably won't find a job doing this. I, and other MU clans, have decided to stay what I've dubbed 'rotational nomadic'. This is where the clans stay nomadic and rotate around the mainland in order to gain contracts.
However I'm sure that as we gain members or as we need an actual base of operations that your skills (which will probably have matured by then) will come in excellent help in designing our fortress. So my advice, don't give up on the idea, rather put it on hold until the need arises.

sounds good, but i was thinking that instead of a route to go on have small groups of ppl go in separate ways to find jobs and come back together and meet to trade and add money into one "bank" account. then with more ppl adding together we will have the funds we need to get materials, buy boats and stuff, depending on how the game turns out.

Also snowbo, people can come to you if they need advice on their houses. (No doubt we'll have many of those, being filthy rich mercs and all ) I had also forgotten the nomadic thing, I guess it's for the best, at least in the beginning.

It sounds like you are almost making decisions like this with them (hard to describe what I'm trying to say). I just want to be sure we don't make too many decisions together, or else we might end up merging eventually.

No, it wasn't a decision made together. I originally suggested it as my idea and others kind of picked up on it.
Don't worry about things like that happening. If relations ever get too close I'll just break them off, I'm not fond of any idea of merging.
