Re: Favourite Bad Guy? Gomez, there was a hint that he might of turned good, i dont think he was really evil in the first place but that borderline character development makes him my pick.
Re: Favourite Bad Guy? Agreed. Part of the reason I voted for Menator instead of Gomez, actually. Good thing Mendoza wasn't on there -- and I consider him a villain, even if he's heroic often -- or I'd be in deep trouble in deciding...
Re: Favourite Bad Guy? Gomez was one of the best bad characters, but what about Govenor Pizarro? Pizarro was always the head huncho, ordering everyone else around. He didn't even know who his captain from Spain was (Mendoza!!!)
Pizarro was the ultimate bad guy because of his love for gold.
Re: Favourite Bad Guy? Pizarro was a good bad guy aswell. Sorry I forgot to mention him.
I think he the was the most obsessed with gold. Getting his soldiers to steal all the gold from villages. I liked when he first laid eyes on the golden Condor and then Mendoza managed to get them all on and escape.
Re: Favourite Bad Guy? Yes, Pizarro was quite interesting... as someone who ruled a great deal, it would seem that he was almost the equivalent of a modern CEO. That is, he created a powerful organization to run all of his domain as Governer General with only a handful of people, and so created quite a situation which he had significant control over but a lack of comprehension of everything that happened... good notice, groenewegendavid!
Another example of lack of full comprehension... how the priest had been imprisoned long before Pizzaro, but even so he had "forgotten about the old fool".
Re: Favourite Bad Guy? I've just now voted for Kalmec. He's utterly evil, unlike Menator who has to act like a leader bidding for the survival of his race.
But it was Kalmec who stabbed the High Priest of the City of Gold, ie. You-know-who!
Re: Favourite Bad Guy? I went Gaspard. The way he always took things too far was quite funny but at the end you see he has enough sense to think his life is worth more than Gold even if he does realise it a little too late in the day. I could see him becoming good friends with Mendoza in a sequel (if we assume he survived of course).
