Re: If there was a film, who would play them? But it's the point of this game. You could design a character "easily", and make animated film, but find the an actor who fit that character...
That's why I LOVE animations! I can do anything in animations, wihout limits!
Re: If there was a film, who would play them? Point of the game? I like that, sounds fun!
For Mendoza: A Basque actor, any Basque actor...do they even have actors? (I'm part Basque, indulge me on that one
Esteban: He would have to look like Noam Kaniel. Hoo boy
Ben Stiller was *born* to play Pedro, good call!
For Menator...I don't know why, but I've always thought of Ian McKellen...they'd have to make him look a leeetle bit shorter
Hugo Weaving as the High Priest, anyone?
Me, though, I'd downgrade/upgrade everything back to Analog and hire people who know how to draw on paper, then I'd sit back with Jean Chalopin while holding a glass of wine in my cupped hand. Eh, why not?
Just keep the concept of "shounen hero" away from Esteban, I think it'll work out good
Re: If there was a film, who would play them? I never heard of Noam Kaniel before, but, WOW!!!He's cute enough, but isn't a little too old to play Esteban? (But think about it, it's better than a dead, old actor for the Doc ...ehmmm...I mean Fernando La Guerra!XDD)...
Whoa, think about the olmex, it could be a remake of the 'Planet of the Apes' :PPP
Re: If there was a film, who would play them? It's funny...I *heard* Noam as a child, didn't hear *of* him until years an' years later Besides the MCoG theme, he also sang the theme to "The Secret of the Sword" with Erika Scheimer, and I knew there was a connection, especially since a few MCoG tracks found their way into episodes of He-Man.
Kids were allowed to look like that back then, I should know because I was one
Just don't make him look like Legolas...if only because every other male lead character in every entertainment medium already does
This is one thing that kinda worries me about a release in the States, and why I wasn't the least bit surprised that Britain got it first.
They can handle watching it without reverting to Zentraedi (Robotech versions, of course Don't ask me how they can do it, they just can
You made a good point about the Olmecs...if they were played by actors who could display all kinds of different twitches, mannerisms, body language, like Roddy McDowall playing Cornelius and Milo/Ceasar. Ray Park is pretty well-known for doing that, they'd all have to be very physical actors.
Oh, and you're cool, Edua You come up with very fun games
Re: If there was a film, who would play them? I know! How about Christopher Lambert as Mendoza? i just saw a film trailer with him and then I thought CL would perfect for Mendoza!
Re: If there was a film, who would play them? Yes, I can see her as Omuro I agree- Hugh Jackman as Mendoza … I sometimes think that Charles Shaughnessy looks a bit like Mendoza, though he’s a bit older now, and there’s Patrick Dempsey ( Dr. Derek “McDreamy” Shepherd in “Grey’s Anatomy” .
Maybe Kenneth Welsh as The Doctor...
When it comes to the High Priest - Hugo Weaving would be good But we basically see him wearing a mask ( maybe one or two screenshots without it in the scenes when Esteban is rescued)- so it is probably more a question of how we expect him to speak, with his origins unknown- but we can hear the voice of The High Priest in the series
Re: If there was a film, who would play them? Hugh Jackman good as Mendoza, Kenneth Welsh too as Doctor, but I can't imagine hugo Weaving as the High Priest...he's simply not a character like him. At least I think that. He could be Kalmek instead.X)
