Deadringers.
Check out this screencap from a Japan-only SNES game called The Blue Crystal Rod. It doesn't look like it has anything to do with MCoG, but... just look at the main characters... o_o

Whoa, that does look like them. Maybe they got influenced with the MCoG.

A bit of a resembalance. I guess they liked that sort of hair style at the time.  Does anyone else know of any pictures that remind you of characters from the cartoon?

Yes, it does look like Esteban, and especially Zia (it's the headband).
