MCoG Main Characters

I know there is a MCoG Character List on Wikipedia, but I was inspired by some other Wikipedia entries to prepare the “profiles” of the main characters,just for fun :

Name : Esteban
First appearance: Ep. 1 "Esteban, Child of the Sun"
Gender: Male
Age: 12 ( in the beginning of the series); Born ca. 1520 (11 / 08 / 1520 ?)
Family: He is the son of an Inca Priestess and a 'traveling foreigner', from whom he was separated as a baby during a storm in the Pacific. He was raised by the late Father Rodriguez, the Dean of the Barcelona Cathedral. Following his death in the first episode, he seems to see Mendoza as his guardian.
Important: He is called the Child of the Sun, because he is believed to have an ability to make the Sun appear whenever he’s around. He wears one of the Medallions of the Sun.

Name : Zia
First appearance: Ep.1"Esteban, Child of the Sun"
Gender: Female
Age: 11 ( in the beginning of the series); Born ca. 1521
Family: She is the daughter of Papacamayo ( sp ?) – the chief of the Village of the New Sun. She had been abducted and brought to Europe as a little girl.
Important:She can read the Quipu and wears one of the Medallions of the Sun

Name : Tao
First appearance: Ep. 5 "The Abduction of Zia"
Gender: Male
Age: 13 ( in the beginning of the series); Born ca. 1519
Interests: Science, inventions
Family: Claims to be the last living descendant of the sunken empire of Hiva ( Mu) . He often mentions his late Father.

Name : Mendoza

First appearance: Ep.1 "Esteban, Child of the Sun"
Gender: Male
Nationality: Spanish
Age: 28 ( in the beginning of the series); Born ca. 1504
Occupation: Navigator
Influences: Ferdinand Magellan
Prior to the Esperanza expedition to the New World he had sailed a lot and was a member of the Magellan’s voyage around the world. That’s when he rescued baby Esteban from a shipwreck.
He’s a mysterious guy, nothing is known of his family or personal life.

I’m afraid there will be little advantage of it, but I hope you enjoy reading my short descriptions of the characters as much as I enjoyed preparing them…
