How could they tell everything in about 100 minutes? Ugh, I have some (very sad)experiences about that kind of remakes (for example the Movie of Dragon Ball, season 1. It totally lost the original feeling)...
I hope it'll be like the Advent Children- continues the story of Final Fantasy 7, but it's a very good film itself, and people can enjoy to watch it, even if they didn't see(play) FF7.
I think that's why they released the MCoG on DVD this year: it was an advertise of the Movie.

Those pictures are from the planned second TV series, I think - they're not related to the movie.
I'm still convinced the movie, if it ever happens, will retell the original story. Doing a sequel to a series so few people globally have ever seen would be risky in the extreme.

Ummm, maybe there'll no movie, just a new series? (If I understand the article correctly, it has 25 episodes.)

I'll ask those people on lescitesdor (I hope, someone can speak english:P) about this, anyway...
But, yeah, it would be the best, if they make both a movie AND a new series!
