Re: The remaining Cities of Gold... I thought about possibile places, more, than 6...
Africa:
-Egypt(on second thought, I don't think so. There're too many people! And it's too obivious :P )
-near Kalahari Desert, or near Lake Victoria- because they're dangerous and beautiful places -Near Ghana and Sudan (Ghana was called 'Golden Coast' some years ago)
Asia:
-Iraq- Ancient Mesopotamia, Babylonia (after Egypt it's so possibile)
-China (we should see the Great Wall and the clay army! )
-India- Tibet, Mt Everest ( I don't know, why...just see great buildings, and Mendoza can fight tigers and bloodthirsty monks with bare hands Oh, and there aren't too much people, who looking for the CoG)
-Japan (dunno, why, they can get there some new clothes XD )
Europe:
-Great Bitain (visit the Stonhenge or Nessy )
-Greece Crete, or some other island on Aegean Sea (Well, it was a 'young' civilization, compared to Hiva, but who knows.)
-France (just for fun)
Other:
-The Bermuda Triangle- underwater City of Gold!XD (OK, so booooring...)
-Easter-Islands-( Honestly, I don't think there's a Golden City, but maybe they found some clues about them :P )
-Peru- It could be a shame, that they find a City near to the High Peak, LOL! Anyway, I hope they get back to South America
Hmm, I leave Australia...maybe on Tasmania?
When I looking at my maps yesterday, I found some interesting islands on the Pacific (on the right side of it!): MAP
Re: The remaining Cities of Gold... Hi,Children of the Sun!
Edua ,you have made my task hard The places I’d like to suggest are in fact the same,I’ll just add that the French fans regret that The Eiffel Tower wasn’t there In the 16th century -Japan – I’d like to go there myself -China –There’s something awesome about the The Shaolin Monastery
-Great Britain (yes, the Stonehenge )
Re: The remaining Cities of Gold... Maybe the other cities are on the middle of the continentsXD In the middle of nowhere...
Let's see, I found something interesting: Atlantis destroyed around 9000 B.C. (Hiva as well!), according to Platon.
BUT 9000 B.C. some parts of the World was covered with hard ice!(Great Britain, too!) It melted after Hiva destroyed!
So, I think we can leave out the fields that were under ice.
Here's a map of the last ice age: MAP i hope, the people of Hiva weren't that stupid they built golden cities on that cold places! The story of the series is based of REAL history facts, so...
Re: The remaining Cities of Gold... Sorry for the double post, and it's not exactly about the golden cities itself, but...
I found an interesting thing on the other day.
I read about ancient China and found some legends about the 'Yellow Emperor', Huang-ti.
He lived BC 2697-2597 (he was older, than 100 years-old, when he died!)
He was a genius, invented things: the silk(from silkworms), chinese calendar, musical instruments, south pointing chariot, etc.
What is more interesting is that the legend says: when he was over 100 years, a dragon came down from the Heaven and took him away!
(After the Yellow Emperor's death, nine dragons 'teared the Ancient China apart...')
Now, we know, how a Chinese dragon looks like!
(DRAGON) It's remind me Quetzalcoatl, the winged Serpent, the ancient 'God' of the mayas.
(Winged Serpent)
Remember, Esteban says (I think in the 26th episode...not sure...) , -when Tao read the manuscript about the Winged Serpent- that he was flying over the mountains with gold-covered wings, and maybe 'it was built by the same people, who built the Great Condor'!
So, maybe there's another flying machine (just like the Condor), and it's in China? Maybe it was the 'Dragon', who took Huang-ti to the Heaven?
The only bug is that Quetzalcoatl left the Land of the Mayas for the Eastern Sea -and China is to the West from Mexico...
