Anyone else re-watching on DVD?

Since I recieved the DVDs, I've made it to episode 20.

The book has a nice cast listing in the back to keep track of everyone.

It says that Captain Perez appears to die when the Esperanza sinks in the storm. I don't know about that because he is seen on a lifeboat, but he is never seen again.

Also, the poster has a cool map on the opposite side tracking the path our heroes take.

I'm rewatching it, I'm finally happy to see it in an official set. I think I'm gonna keep my bootleg copy and save it for my niece and nephew and hold it for them when they get a little older.

The bootleg copy I have has the next-time segements in French, I think. Been awhile since I looked at it, not sure what I'll do with it. I don't think it has anything in particular that isn't on my DVD copies.

It was a very small lifeboat, and there was a big storm.
Maybe the only survivors who were in the boat was Gomez and Gaspard.

I've finally started re-watching it, got to episode 10. The music is so uplifting in the background, you can never fail to notice it.

...and they ATE Alvarez when emergency rations ran out emoticon

Peter: I'm rewatching right now, for I think the fourth time since I got the DVDs. It's just such a wonderful series, it never gets old. And you're right about the music - it's beautiful - sometimes sad, sometimes merry, sometimes poignant and haunting, and can really affect your mood emoticon

It's settled, then. Alvarez' official fate: being consumed by Gomez and Gaspard. Gaspard would eat anything, I bet.
