Who has watched any of the Studio Ghibli films?

Seen I mentioned one in another post I thought I would ask who has seen any of them. They can be very entertaining films and some are particularly good. All are very Japanese though (even Howl's Moving Castle) they also seem to use the same characters in each film. I have heard the suggestion (from some of my friends) that perhaps they are trying to have their character be like actual actors who adopt that characters role. Spirited Away is probably my favourite out of the ones I have seen. Howl's moving castle was good, Princess Mononoke gets very strange in a Japanese way (a bit like the Final Fantasy film) and Totoro doesn't really have enough appeal for adults. Laputa Castle in the Sky is again very good and Nausicaa I have seen but can't remember that well. Was at Uni at the time, so either at a silly time, I slept through it or had a little too much to drink I guess.

Ah yes, I've seen many of the (relatively) later ones and a few of the very early efforts. They're all helpful in explaining to my mother why I do like to watch cartoons at times. =)

I can't really tell which is my favorite, a few of them have very different styles, given their difference in directorial approach.

I have some DVDs from the Ghibli collection
They are some of the best hand drawn animated movies, I hope Miyazaki makes a few more.
Maybe his next movie can be about a boy who travels to find some hidden Mayan cities...

I watch them! They're on TV now, I think it'll Kiki's delivery service this week.
Well, they're nice, but see them once is enough...
