Re: Welcome to the cities of gold! Hey Zeen, thanks for the invitation! I have vague memories of the show when it aired on Nickelodeon in the 80s but ever since I stumbled onto MCOG again last year, I've been hooked! For anyone looking to watch the episodes again can download Winmx as I'm always sharing the entire series there. They aren't the greatest quality (145mb per episdoe avg) but they're not too bad until you can get your hands on the VCD/DVDs.
Re: Welcome to the cities of gold! Hey LapuLapu, nice name, lol. Yeah I heard you can do that, I got some dvd's that are pretty good, except when it gets to the end of the last ep, the quality gets worse. Anyway, thanks for joining.
Re: Welcome to the cities of gold! I'm glad you like the name. From what I've read, Lapulapu was the name of the chief whose tribe refused to convert to Christianity and subsequently killed Magellan in battle. I guess my name stands for native resistance to Spanish (and European) conquest. Oh and the number 2012 is the year in which the Mayan Long Count Calendar ends.
Re: Welcome to the cities of gold! Just surfed over from Sailor Heva's site, and I must say this looks very promising, as there aren't really any new MCoG sites being created these days - I'll definitely add a link from our own site when I can.
Re: Welcome to the cities of gold! Man, I love this show! It inspired my interest in ancient civilisations! In fact I'm planning on going to Peru for a year in 2005 or 2006!
