The marathon training group, as last year, will be a separate group from the normal Sunday runs and, as they get longer, will gradually start earlier. The runs will be predominently, but not exclusively, aimed at those intending to do either the Amsterdam or New Forest Marathons.
I will be putting the intended mileage for any given Sunday on this link but not publishing it as a general program because the distances vary dependant upon your marathon target time and will be agreed by the group on a week by week basis.

Sounds good El. At least then I won't get all the blame for 'Mike mountains', as Carol kindly referred to some of the hills last year!

A few Quantock runs would be good, easier on the joints and scenic.

Or as welly 10k/10mile race is coming up how about a practice on the course, i started the 10k last week and somehow ended up finishing the 10 mile route!

Not all people like off road running and as the end goal is a marathon (albeit with 3 miles of forest trail in the middle) it's probably best that we stay on road, which is what we succesfully did last year.
As said previously, these are marathon specific training runs and will all be starting and finishing at Belvedere Road, which is convenient for all.
It's good to hear that you're back running, Ian. Are you planning to come back and join RFRC then?

Yes but only sundays , as i'm booked up weds nights, will proberly do a trull run on thursday and 6miler on tuesdays.

Point taken re some people not liking offroad, it was only a suggestion! (now being penciled in for Saturdays)
I have completed a number of marathons, and would be happy to help in any way, if only to tell everyone my various mistakes; I have made a few.
