Diary Date

Hi guys

Notification of a date for your diaries - Friday 22nd May. It's Dawn (23rd), Michelle and I's ( both 25th) birthdays (numbers are dates not ages alas!). We fancied a bit of a knees up somewhere and since I'm tootling off on me hols on the Sunday this was the nearest date we could get.

We will consult each other and let you know more definite plans then - but the date is a set! 22nd May!!! Come join us, it'll be a giggle!

Looks like a few of us will be joining you for our quarterly night out. Had to miss the last one as i got in a bit of a state at Xmas thanks to a certain Mr Cutler and Fisher + their mates!!
We are only allowed in certain establishments due to our respective ASBO's!!!

Hi

Should be able to come just need to check the date. I have a feeling that it could be half term (yes another week off!!) so may be going away.

Re: Diary Date

Okey doke,

Plans for Friday 22nd are as follows:

Meet between 7-8 in The Coal Orchard (know it's a Wed night haunt, but it's easy to get to, cheap to start drinking in and if people are dashing home from work they can grab a quick bite to eat).

Then....ok, that's where my plan fails! Any ideas for after there? Alex will say the Plough, I know someone else has said Mamba (formerly Millers which is still how I know it!) but does anyone else have any ideas for where to move onto, say about 8.30 - 9ish? Could do with saying so that if people want to join us later they can. I'm open to offers...of pubs - Mike, Phil, Big Malc and George before any of you make lewd suggestions! emoticon

Re: Diary Date

Would I ever Claire? OK, maybe!

Good shout to start at the Coal Orchard, I think, for food etc. To strike a compromise, how about a mini tour of the pubs in that area - in suggested order, the Kings, Plough, Cricketers (haven't been in there since it's been called that though), Crown & Sceptre and then head into town for later drinks if you want to.

Mike being lazy! emoticon

My understanding is that the Crown and Sceptre and the Cricketers are both as rough as a badgers bottom on a Friday. Would be ok but you know what Darren can be like after a few shandies.........

Hmmmm, I think I tend to agree with Rich I'm afraid Mike! Whilst I can run faster (faster than someone, I know, shocking!) than some of the nasty looking people I see having their fags outside those pubs, if I was inside and had to run away AND open doors, I feel it could go disastrously wrong!

Any other ideas people? For what it's worth, for some reason I've been sent lots of VIP vouchers for SHOUT!! Woo hoo!!!
