Re: Diary Date

Gosh Sally, do you drink in either of them? Huge apologies if so, and no, they're not known trouble makers, and I think it's probably due to the smoking ban, but they all hang around outside The Cricketers and Crown and Sceptre and look a little intimidating. My opinion only of course!

Depends on what people want to do afterwards I guess? Live music, Perkin, Dellars (i shudder to suggest such a thing), Shout?

Fair enough. I don't go past them so much now so will be guided by others greater knowledge. Can't say I've visited either of them for many years but it just seemed like a convenient circuit at the time.

Well to be honest the toilets smell in the Crown & Septic (notice the cunning word play) is enough to put me off that place - the Cricketers tends to play load Karioke which in my mind is a bad thing! Kings Arms is ok I think! Anyway I plan to be come along for the night anyway, plough is a good starting point I think anyway!

Ok suspect the smell of the toilets in the Crown 7 Septic (did you see what I did there) will be enough to put anyone off and the Cricketers seems to exclusivly play loud annoying karioke (which can only be a bad thing if you ask me) The Plough is a good starting place I think and I plan to be along for the night!

OK Claire, I reckon it's up to us birthday girls to decide emoticon How about we move from the Coal Orchard to the beer garden at Millers (now Mambo?) if the weather is nice or the Plough if it's not!
From memory the loo's aren't too offensive in either place and neither is too far to stagger for those a little worse for wear!! emoticon

Great photo's Claire (mostly!!!) and Mark - I take no responsibility whatsoever for your new glassless designer watch lol

Thanks to everyone that came to our party emoticon

I had a great night and what a great start to my birthday! The 2am chorus of Happy Birthday along East Reach probably woke half of Taunton emoticon

And especially for Big Mal - Vous avez manqué une nuit grande! (Sorry Sophie if that's apalling grammar emoticon )
