It was bigger in real life, honest!
This photo is of Segestria florentina,the tube web spider. Unlike the Tarantulas that myself and Phil keep, this is a true spider. Apparently it’s one of the UK’s most aggressive spiders and can give you a nasty bite, I didn’t know this when I helped move a mates shed. Still, with the gloves on it wouldn’t have got it’s teeth in. Nice, isn't it?

Had one of these living behind my porch light. Notice i said 'had.'
I could tell it wasn't the average spider by the way it behaved as i removed it. Was very big!
