Multiple Sclerosis: My first Marathon
Hey guys,
Bit late I know but if anyone wants to support the Multiple Sclerosis research unit at Bristol Frenchay hospital by sponsoring me for my first ever marathon THIS SUNDAY then please go to: www.justgiving.com/ams4ms
I decided to run for these guys since my father and auntie both suffer with MS. I am also aware of other people at the club that have friends and relatives that have MS. I see the marathon as a small recognition of the pain and suffering that they experience everyday. The research centre works on ways to improve the quality of life for MS Sufferers since there is not yet a single known cause. Best of all- the unit is pretty local to us so trials are taking place with the help of people all around this area, who are benefitting from an attempt at symptom-relief.
If you do decide to put a small amount of money their way, please do it now since the race is this Sunday, and thanks very much for your help.
