Dear All,
Just had my come upance from progressing from runner (well ok i try) to triatlete. Fell off on Saturday on first long tri club ride (should have come with you Mike)and broke my elbow. Was in hospital for 4 nights. Finally had op and home now, very sore but ok. Thanks to everyone for good wishes any enquiries about me. Great to see El in hosp too, will be needed her physio. Good luck to all in Amsterdam. No running for me for a while. I will stroll down and see you on Wednesday soon and show you my scar once it a been disclosed from the plaster. emoticon

The wrong type of leaves on the road? Hope you get better soon. At least you got a ride in an ambulance!

Hope you're 100% again very soon.
By the way - that wasn't in Staple Fitzpaine was it? I drove past a bike incident there last Sat morn. Did look like badly misplaced leaves, beech nuts, junction and bend!

Yes that was me, small world. Someone else saw the aftermath too. Missed the turning of the main pack and the rest is history.
