Just a quick reminder that this Sunday (25th) is the first of the Quantocks runs. It appears that most have arranged themselves to meet at Lydeard Hill but if anybody needs a lift please post here.
Please aim to get there for 8.20ish so that we can be away promptly at 8.30.
The rain we've had today and are due to have in the next day or two should make it nice and muddy. At least Sandra (aka mudlark) will be happy!

Ten of us turned out today in pretty good conditions, weather wise, although underfoot it was pretty messy.
The next one will be in two weeks time (8 February) and will be approx. half marathon (13.1 miles) distance. There will be much more off-road this time as we will be using more forest and ridge trail.
Same time and place - 8am at Belvedere Road or 8.20 at Lydeard Hill car park, ready for an 8.30 start.
Let us know if you're coming.

With the current underfoot conditions and the promise of sub zero temperatures for the next two nights, Simon and I have already decided that this Sunday's Quantocks run will be postponed.
Instead, we'll meet up at Belvedere Road at 9.30am and, assuming that it's safe to do so, we'll look to do a multi terrain run from there. It won't be as far or as hilly but hopefully equally enjoyable.

Only you Mike would even contemplate running in this weather! Presumably if weather ok then half marathon training will also go ahead....hey a girl can but hope!?!

Yeh, well, I'm mad Claire but, to be fair, Scotty and me did do sensible today and abandon on a proposed run at lunchtime.
Re Sunday's half marathon training group, it will be down to seeing how things are tomorrow and the group leaders (Rich/George) making a decision then.
