Re: REsults
Well done Keith! Just seen John Gilling ran 2.42 for New York. Pretty impressive, he went through 10km in 37.19!!!!he also beat Lance Armstrong, which can't be bad!

Re: REsults
You wait until he gets back. He just emailed to say he ran with Lance and chatted. Apparently Jon said Lance needed to lose some muscle and Lance replied not that much!! (looking at Jon's legs) ho ho!! Anyway then ran most of the way with Sonia o Sullivan - amazing hey???
Looks like we are all going to have to speed up if we want to meet our heroes :o(.

Re: REsults
really???? i don't think any of my hero's could beat me in a race as they are all dead. They'd still be able to move quicker than Hit n Run and Egor though!

Re: REsults
~Putting Phil's result here so I remember - no other results so can't put one in for next week at the mo.
4:56 for the Dublin City Marathon (my first). I was waiting until Alex and I had run the Wimborne 10 miler to give you the results in bulk (honest!).

A results board - how exciting :-)
I did a run on Sunday.
I ran the Sodbury Slog at Chipping Sodbury. 9.5 miles cross-country.
I ran it in 1hr 19 mins 55secs
(199th out of 997)

Re: REsults
Thanks Guys, have sent results to papers today with authorial embellishments to pad them out. Hopefully be in Gazette this week but might be too late and in next week.
If results could be sent asap this would be very helpful. Any extra details of the event would also help such as weather, conditions under foot, crowds, organisations etc..

Re: REsults
Yes Sodbury Slog was great fun. Tough underfoot with ploughed fields, waterfilled ditches and steep hills but a brilliant atmosphere. Loads of people in fancy dress - I got overtaken by a rather dishy nun after a couple of miles, but managed to beat Captain America on the line!
