Re: REsults
Did the Full Monty Cute yesterday. I like hills but that was taking the p*** a bit! It actually didn't rain for almost all of the run. However it was very windy. And mud? I've never seen mud like it! I'm not sure my shoes will ever recover! It was brilliant btw.
Results - in reverse order (well why do you think?):
Phil Wilson - 2:16:24
Val Perigo - 2:16:24
Lynn Cunningham - 2:04:34
Scott Weetch - 1:45:39
Simon Lewis - 1:27:45 - speedy or what?
Andrew Ellins - 1:25:29 - waaay too fast!
Well done all of us. Let's hope we enjoy the Christmas pudding.

Re: REsults
I did the Bedford Half Marathon yesterday. Really enjoyed the race even though the rain was lashing down for most of the way!
Time was 1:38:34 !! yippee!
My fastest previous time for a half was 1.42. really pleased to be in under 1.40 and also only 15 secs behind my brother!
position 356/1385

Re: REsults
Perhaps we should start a backslapping thread under the results one??
each of the results gets bigged up in the local rag if not on here. Anyway you can blame me for the rag....... partially responsible anyway having never been describe as a fully responsible adult

Re: REsults
Well the shoes recovered from the Full Monty Cute so it was off to the Torrington Christmas Caper today - and another Christmas Pudding earned.
Excellent run - multi-terrain, cold and sunny, lovely views, lots of santas, fairies, elves, christmas hats and tinsel.
Ran (well walked then) through water almost up to our knees at one point - it was very cold water. Hope the shoes recover before Oh My Obelisk!
Results - in reverse order again because I prefer it:
Val Perigo - 122:03
Phil Wilson - 122:03
Mike Nicholls - 95:45
Scott Weetch - 95:45
Simon Lewis - 78:37 (wow!)
