this was one of my most enjoyable races, the countryside was beautiful especially with the frost. great marshalls and atmosphere. well done all of us. theres a picture of alex on the website.

Two RFRC runners took part in the 3rd race of the Street 5k series on Weds night which was also the Somerset Champs.
It was an icy eveing with one part of the course particularly icy meaning a slightly longer path was needed to complete the 5 lap course.
This did not prevent Mark Lewis coming home as 2nd male in 17:11. He picked up the silver medal in the Champs.
Darren Webb was 8th male home in 18:34.
There are 3 races left in the series with RFRC looking in a strong position to feature.
Mark Lewis is currently 2nd and Darren Webb 6th.
The next race is the 2nd Weds in January
