It's a great race from a spectator point of view - you get to see the runners 3 times whilst remaining within spitting distance of the pub :-)
Gave it my best shot to make up for Claire not being there lol and I'm sorry for not knowing all your names!! Was safer to shout for the club vest.... Amazing runs guys and I was blown away by Darren's and Caroline's sprint finishes 
am recovering from pneumonia now though

Thanks for taking on the Cheerleader role Dawn! I was cheering in spirit from France - honest! Well done guys! And a belated well done for the Welly Monument runners too. Driving down the remarkable hills on the way to cheer I believe I muttered some expletives! Well done for getting some marvellous times and the team prize!
Looking forward to cheering in 2009!

Hmmm, yes. Just got home to find my number waiting for me. Darn, thought I'd got it in late enough to gain credit for entering but there not being room! Drat!
By the way, those of you who get the Star delivered - great pic of Stoke Stampede on the front - 3 of us! Now I'm no longer looking at paper but think from vague recollection it's Darren, Mark and Nick (sorry if it's not but I can't be bothered to traipse downstairs!!). Good publicity guys!
