Re: RESULTS 2009
No Sally your contributions are always appreciated! It would be good though if wew could compile a key of who is who on this forum as half the time I have no idea who is posting. To start the ball rolling I am Richard Palmer (run in group one and announce a lot of rubbish regularly on a weds night) aka Ricky4!!

Re: RESULTS 2009
Hi, my name is John. I've been doing 'running' on and off for about 2 years now.
At first it was just a casual thing, which I did at the weekends with some mates, just starting with some 5ks. Then some friends of mine said they were going to try something a bit harder and I got into half marathons.
I've been clean for 4 days now and just take things a day at a time. With the support of this group I think we can all get there.

Re: RESULTS 2009
Bideford Half, Sunday 1st March 2009:
El Palfreman, Scott Weetch, Ian Smith and I (Martin Matthias) ran the Bideford half marathon yesterday morning. The results are:
El = 2h 06m 00s
Martin Matthias = 1h 55m 54s
Apologies for not recording Scott's time as the results aren't up on the race website yet. Can't remember Ian's time either but I don't think he's a club member so, that's ok.
It was a really nice course to run, a lot hillier than they like you to think but enjoyable with lovely weather.
