He is a wonderfully charming and charismatic fellow who didn't deserve the problems and bad press the Saint generated for him.

I wholeheartedly agree with Hoppy’s view – having re-watched a couple of The Saint TV-movies, I was very impressed with Simon Dutton’s interpretation of Templar, I think he would have been superb in the role had he been given better material to work with.

While Man in the Brown Suit had it's problems, I did enjoy it and Simon was the best thing in it. He even whooped Edward Woodward for charisma.
Reading the book and playing it out in your head with Simon as Harry is much better though!!!

I've been in the Saint Club for 14 years - curses that I missed Simons visit....by 3 years!!!

Oh man I know what you mean. I am still upset because I had a chance to meet Simon when he was doing a play in NYC last year with Sophie Ward, and I couldn't go because I didn't have the money! emoticon (I live 4 hours from there)Maybe he'll return to the states one day and closer to me like D.C. or Baltimore.
