If you’ve been wondering what was happening, Ian was asked about the DVD release of the Simon Dutton Saint movies & Network’s audio CD release of the Edwin Astley’s musical score from the Moore years on The Epistle – this was his reply:
The update on both of these is, well, an advertisement for patience. Both are still moving ahead slowly, it’s just that everyone involved is very busy at the moment.
Having said that, my conversations today may have started speeding things up a little. We’ll see.

According to a recent update at Leslie Charteris.com, it looks like Umbrella Entertainment of Australia will be releasing the six Simon Dutton TV movies this year – possibly by July.

This is a region 4 release, according to Umbrella while previously the releases were regionfree. Does this have a reason?
And when can we expect a R2 release?
I am very tempted to still buy the boxset from australia as I did with the one before.

From the things I’ve been reading, I don’t think Network will be releasing the Dutton series anytime soon, so this maybe your only chance to get the series on DVD.
Also, unlike the other Umbrella Saint releases, these are very basic and won’t contain any extras.
