Le Saint a Paris
If anyone has read this book, and it has been some time since I have, has anyone noticed the very striking similarities between it and the storyline of the hugely crud Kilmer film?
I would go so far as to say that the film's basis was this book but I haven't seen any credit anywhere to admit this.
The whole female scientist and energy secret is there to behold.
Any thoughts?

Re: Le Saint a Paris
It's a coincidence.
A good one, but nevertheless a coincidence.
Having interviewed all the main folks behind the Kilmer turkey I can safely say you would be overstating their literary interests by many miles. And don't forget the French book was based on a comic strip written by Leslie Charteris...

Re: Le Saint a Paris
Having read the book it does have similarities with the movie. But the movie still has some strong points while the book is overal very weak. It is one of those Saintbooks I found it hard to finish reading, simply because the story loses its pace (if it ever had one).
I am lucky having more Saintbooks at my disposal being Dutch. But not all those books are worth your while.
